Talk It Out

Your Forum For Discussing The Issues - Want To Ask Something? Send It In To Be Discussed In Our Forum

It seems that everybody's talking about sending/asking for dirty pics. Why has this become such a big deal these days?

to ivano17. If they call you a slut then they really dont know you and dont care to know you. You didnt do it. That is something to be proud of. Do things you wouldnt mind others knowing about. If someone wants you to do something that you would be ashamed of say your preacher or your grandparent knowing you did then you shouldnt do it. If they make fun of you forget them they arent worth your time you are better than that. Even though being made fun of hurts.

My boyfriend asked me to send a nude pic of myself to him. It’s not constant that he asks me though. I told him that it was child pornography and we could get in A LOT of trouble. Then he said we wouldn’t get caught, we should give it a try. What should I do???

That's Not Cool Tip: It's NEVER okay for your boyfriend to pressure you for a nude picture. Trust your instinct on what makes you uncomfortable and be clear about how you feel. When you tell him 'NO', he should respect that. For support, talk to someone you trust and see the Need Help tab resources.

We do not and cannot provide legal advice, but some U.S. teens have been charged with crimes or threatened with criminal charges for sending pictures of themselves to others.

i would not give him pic unless you are readu or you want to

Is it okay to ask for private or dirty pics? How do you say no? Where do you draw the line?

No, it isn't okay to ask for dirty pictures in my book. That's a big no no for me. Its really hard to draw the line, especially when you're pressured by someone you really like, or even love, ya know?
